we highly recommend--in fact we urge you--that you do not waste so much time in the search and just email Solly right now

After spending hours and hours and hours searching on-line for the right accommodations, we finally emailed Solly at Knightly Apartments and received a prompt, informative, and courteous reply. So we highly recommend--in fact we urge you--that you do not waste so much time in the search and just email Solly right now. He is a terrific source of information and seems to anticipate your questions before you can even ask them! And then the apartment itself was wonderful! We were traveling with our three children, ages 7, 9, and 12, and found the apartment to be exactly what we needed--a warm and comfortable haven in the heart of the city with easy access to Oxford Circus underground station and a 10 minute walk to Piccadilly Circus. Restaurants were just around the corner or across Regents Street, shops abounded, and adventure went with us every step of the way! We had a great time in London and the comfort, convenience and ease of our accommodations allowed us to concentrate our time on having fun.

Accommodations for the ICA Conference in London

Excerpt from Email to Michael Haley of ICA and Solly Godsi of Knightly Property:
I'm Joe C's wife. I understand that, in your capacity as executive director of ICA, you asked Joe with whom I dealt to rent a flat in London. His name is Solly Godsi; his company is Knightly Property. I'm addressing this email to both of you so you can contact each other directly. I (not Joe) am the one who searched online for an apartment. We're taking our teenage grandson to London with us for eight nights, and then the rest of his family will join us on the final day en route to Nairobi; thus, we wanted a flat (not a single hotel room), one with a kitchen and two bedrooms and preferably sleeping places for six people. I found several options through online searches and ultimately decided to book with Solly, who was very professional, helpful, and cooperative throughout the process. I was especially pleased that he offered a suitable flat that's with our budget and also well located for ease of touring the sights and sites of London. Although we've yet to stay in the flat, I am expecting a very good experience given the accolades I read online from tenants who praised Solly's services and the location, condition, and quality of the apartment and its contents.

The perfect London apartment!

A frequent traveller, I stayed here for 10 days and must call it, hands-down, my best vacation rental experience of them all. The apartment is in great condition, with all the furniture and accessories as represented in the photos and written description. The bed was very comfortable and the heating system ensured warmth on some very cold days. Pina and Solly responded quickly to my pre-arrival inquiries as well as my mid-stay questions and needs, and went above and beyond to ensure my stay was a great one. The neighborhood itself can't be beat, with fast access to multiple tube stations, constant taxis and great restaurants and shops. I would absolutely recommend this apartment to anyone and hope it's available when I next return to London.

Fabulous Location - ENDELL

My family stayed at the Endell flat for a week during the New Years break. The location was wonderful - just steps from the main square of Covent Garden and all it has to offer - restuarants, shopping, nightlife, people watching, etc. It is only a short walk to many attractions in the central London area including The British Museum, The National Gallery, National Portrait Gallery, Westminster Abbey and many more. If you need a cab there is a cab que just a few steps from the flat - we never had to wait more than a minute for a cab. Starbucks and Costa Coffee are steps away. The Covent Garden tube is 2 short blocks away. This location is just wonderful for anyone but was especially great for my family which inlcuded very young children and middle aged parents. The flat is a nice alternative to staying at a hotel when traveling with children - there was room for them to spread out and have downtime as well as having the ability to have some meals in and not having to have every meal at a restaurant. Pina, Solly, and Matise were professional, friendly and very nice to work with.

Gem on Jermyn Street, London.

Hello---
Recently we had the pleasure of staying in this beautiful flat, during our visit to London.
Over New Years its perfect, central location allowed us to enjoy the city, without the usual need to waste so much time and money in cabs.
The flat has underfloor heating and central A/C, just like our home. No lack of creature comforts there. Tastefully decorated, with a private key operated lift we felt very comfortable and secure.
I can honestly say that it was one of the nicest places we have ever stayed in London and can heartily recommend it to all who want to sightsee, shop, dine or otherwise enjoy what this great city has to offer in style.
Thanks.

Fabulous Marylebone Apt & Outstanding Property Mgr - CRAWFORD PLACE

I cannot say enough positive feedback on the property itself and even more importantly the property manager. He owns a number of properties across London - we stayed in one other - and were very happy with our stay. He is a very professional, accomodating manager who goes out of his way to ensure your stay is as pleasant as possible. The apartment was lovely - clean, fresh and as described. It is a very quick walk to the subway and a very quiet neighbourhood at night. I would highly recommend the apartment and the property manager. Simply outstanding!!

Our stay was excellent.

Solly and Knightly Properties run a world class organization. The entire experience was great from booking to checkout. We checked in to the property on a warm Friday morning around 9 am. On landing at Heathrow after a grueling 14 hour flight, we called Solly and he was very prompt in responding to us. Solly met us at the door and walked us through the apartment. Being the gentlemen that he is, he even helped us carry our bags up the stairs! Once in the apartment, my wife wanted to move the furniture to suit her needs and Solly was very accommodating by helping us move a heavy cupboard around from one room to another. You cannot expect such customer service from most organizations! We had asked for extra keys, towels, linens and cutlery and were pleasantly surprised to see it was all there. The 7 year old in our group was very happy with the PS3 in the apartment. The three WiFi connections available were more than sufficient to meet our needs. The duplex apartment is in an older building which has a slightly historic feel. The carpet, paint and bathrooms could use some updating but nevertheless we felt at home. The bedrooms are a little cozy, but the living room was spacious, full of light and airy where we enjoyed relaxing as a family. The neighborhood is quintessential London. We felt like locals. I have been going to London for several years and you couldn't ask for a better location. Covent Garden tube station is just around the corner and of course, Covent Garden itself is just down the street. My wife was thrilled with all the shopping and restaurants available on Long Acre street which was a block away. All the major sites including Oxford Street, London Eye, Westminster, Soho, the British Museum, the theater district are a short walk or 5 pound cab ride away. Check out was as easy as leaving the keys on the coffee table and locking the door behind us. Knightly Properties was very professional to deal with. Our deposit was promptly refunded and all money matters were quickly managed and confirmed. To summarize - the location is probably the best you could have in London, the service is excellent, no hidden fees/costs and the apartment served our needs adequately. Did I mention the best fish & chips you can get in London is just down the street?

Dear Solly,
Just wanted to write and thank you for the fantastic experience our family had in your St James apartment. It’s a beautiful apartment in one of the premier locations in London and provides excellent value for money. Your team was on hand whenever a query arose and the friendly approach made all the difference. I would thoroughly recommend this apartment to any visitors staying in London.

Hi, so often people take the time to issue a complaint well I want to let you know what superior service Chris provided.
As David’s flight was delayed, we were all concerned about our 84 year old father arriving in London alone as he has mild dementia. We needed to ensure he got safely to the apartment. Well Chris patiently waited for him to make his way to arrivals, all the while texting me to provide updates. Chris recognized my father right away and went up to him so my Dad didn’t have to look. Chris stopped along the way to get him some dinner and a hot chocolate (his favourite beverage). He also had stocked the apartment with some food basics even though this wasn’t asked.
It is not often that you find someone who will go the extra mile and beyond to take care of someone. I am so impressed with the kindness and consideration shown by Chris. You have found a real asset to your team. It is comforting to know that there are still people who have a big heart and will treat a complete stranger like family.
Thanks much,
Yetti W.

Couldn't have picked a better spot for summer holidays for our family. Oxford Circus is a spectacle, and Regent Street is a stunner. Couldn't have picked a better spot for summer holidays for our family. Our flat was only 20 meters and 4 flights of stairs from the centre of this amazing city's shopping hub. Hard to compare to NYC, but let's say it was like living on a side-street 1/2-block from Herald Square or Carnegie Hall. All of London's transport options at your fingertips outside, even late after the tubes close. Stroll down Carnaby St & Savile Row. Walk to Soho, parks and theatres. Taxis home. Bus map is crucial. Get to know the C2, 10 & 15 bus routes for easy access to tourist things. Forget driving -- it's a circus out there. But inside this flat it's quiet & cozy, away from it all. We stayed for five weeks in summer of '11. Very comfortable but lots of stairs. Was handy to have a fridge and stove in the flat for eating-in meals on rainy mornings, plus so many eating-out choices nearby. High tea at Browns is lovely. L'Express for coffee. Mason's Arms for pints & pub food. Subway for munchies. John Lewis for supplies. Visit where Hendrix & Handel lived on other side of Hanover Sq. Lots of church bells ringing to help you tell time. Some sirens. Heavy foot traffic. All in all, we wanted to be based in the hub of excitement, convenient to get anywhere, and this rental was the perfect choice!
